A photographic band of beach runs around the middle of the short — palm trees, red and white hibiscus, blue sea and sky — set between a plain white waistband above and white below, so the scene reads as a window rather than an all-over print. Cut in the modern Thai retro shape — short in the leg, high on the waist, with a wide elasticated waistband and a deep side vent for full kicking range. Printed edge to edge and sublimated into the cloth rather than laid on top, so it will not crack or peel.
