Raja Full Face Head Guard — the face-bar guard. A thick padded bar crosses the front and leaves a rectangular window to see through.
Genuine leather built around a padded face bar that spans the opening, forming an aperture you look out of. It is the nose this protects: a bar takes the straight shot that an open-face guard lets through. The trade is peripheral vision and airflow, which is why it lives in heavy-sparring weeks rather than on the daily rack. Laces at the back for a fitted close.
